Summer in full swing around here… well, it was for about a week and since then it’s been pretty chilly and more than a few of us here in Michigan are wondering if fall has come a little early. I won’t complain (to much) because fall is my favorite time of the year and to be honest I don’t like the 90 degree temps with 100% humidity.
What I do like is swimming on the pool or a really clean lake (I hate it when they’re slimy and I can’t see my feet). The kids love it too but like I said the temps haven’t been conducive to swimming, but I have the best fix for that.
Kalahari! An indoor water park!
Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio is an African-themed resort and is America’s largest indoor waterpark. There is something for everyone in the family from the 12,000 sq ft wave pool, body surfing, Kids safari (interactive play area with tunnels and water toys, to the spa (that’s for me!), arcade room, and the safari adventure park outside where you can get up-close and personal with wildlife.
