Have you heard of the cartoon channel just for kids called Qubo? It’s a great channel that features cartoons that encourages good values and healthy lifestyles while celebrating the fun of learning. The majority of Qubo programming carries the “E/I” icon, denoting that the shows are “educational and/or informational” and the ratings are TV-Y, TV-Y7, or TVG. This means that the shows are all family friendly and ok for the youngest members of your home.
My kids, especially my youngest daughter, like to watch Qubo. The shows are fun and entertaining! Her favorites are Jane & The Dragon, The Magic School Bus, and The Zula Patrol.
The Zula Patrol is a favorite because when we took a family vacation to Chicago we spent some time at the planetarium and while there we watched a show that featured the Zula Patrol. For her it’s a reminder of the vacation we took and how much fun we all had. Everytime she see’s the show she tells me about the trip and asks when we’re going back again.
I will admit that I love cartoons and that I like watching them with the kids. They’re simple. They don’t require me to think much about them or really pay attention and sometimes they’re perfect after a busy day!
Have you watched some of the shows on Qubo? What do you think about them?
